On Wednesday, April 1, Centenary United Methodist Women held their Spring Salad Luncheon, Bazaar,
and Bake Sale. The Bazaar and Bake Sale opened at 10:00 a.m.  Serving was from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Below are pictures from the luncheon and also from previous salad luncheons.

Many delicious salads and desserts are prepared and beautifully served by members of Centenary's United Methodist Women.

The bake sale and bazaar are always a favorite of many who attend the luncheon!

Twice each year, Centenary members enjoy working together in providing the community with this delightful luncheon!

Spring Luncheon  April 2, 2008

Twice each year, Centenary United Methodist Women sponsor a Salad Luncheon, Bake Sale, and Bazaar.  Each year the luscious luncheon is held on a Wednesday in the spring and again in the fall. On April 2, 2008 the luncheon featured a wide variety of salads.  German potato salad and small cream puffs stuffed with chicken salad are signature items of the luncheon.

The whole community is always invited to this event. An express line is provided for those on a time-limited lunch hour. Tickets are available from any Centenary UMW member, the church office (217-245-8417), or at the door on the day of the luncheon.

While the luncheon is sponsored by Centenary’s UMW, the whole Centenary family helps to make the event a success. Proceeds are used for mission projects locally and around the world.  This year the fall luncheon was held on October 1, 2008.
