WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO KNOW...
1. Please do not bring any more supplies for the sleeping bags. Jane Lair has plenty to keep her busy over the summer months. Thank You! 2. Young Adults: I would like to invite you to lunch March 21, after late service. I’m thinking we should try Los Rancheros. If you would like to go, just let me know and I’ll make a reservation for all of us. If you want to bring your kiddos, let me know if they would need a high chair or not. Hope you can make it! --Leslie 3. Kitchen clean-up day. We will be cleaning the kitchen on Monday March 29 at 9:00 a.m. All help will be greatly appreciated. 4. If you plan to attend the Lenten Bible study sponsored by the Holy Spokes Cluster, please be sure to get a copy of the daily readings. These optional daily readings will help you prepare for the weekly sessions. Copies are available in the Narthex and church office. You may also request a copy as an e-mail attachment by contacting Beth Fender at bfender@igrc.org . 5. Please consider: When you email items to Martha for the messenger, please also email them to the office to keep us posted on activities. This will help keep the office current. Thank you, Karen 6. There are many ways that the United Methodist Church is helping the earthquake victims in Haiti. Both UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) and CWS (Church World Service and CROP Walk) will be involved in Haiti for years to come. The MMDC (Midwest Mission Distribution Center) in Chatham is packing and shipping supplies. Locally, In His Service is collecting supplies and plans to send a medical team to Haiti in March. See the bulletin insert for more detailed information. Please make your contributions out to Centenary. 9. Team members are needed for Centenary’s Crusaders for this year’s Relay for Life.
